Sally Keen-Siviour

Fundraising Director

I have a strong passion for community engagement, which has led me to volunteer extensively in local sporting clubs. Over the years, I have contributed my time and skills to various roles, including event coordination, team assistance, and member support.

My volunteering journey began in 1991 with the Kadina & District Softball Association, encourage by my Mum, who was a committee member for 30 plus years and was granted a lifetime membership for the Softball & Netball Associations.

I served as a junior committee member, during this time, I managed the canteen, assisted with fundraising, and helped with any tasks that needed to be done to support the club.

I later expanded my involvement to the Kadina & District Netball Association, taking on leadership roles such as Secretary, Vice President, and President.

In these positions, I managed schedules, supported coaches and teams, and ensured smooth operations during matches and community events.

As a parent of a child passionate about 8-ball and Ten Pin Bowling, I experienced firsthand the financial pressures families face when children compete at state and national levels. To help ease this burden, I actively participated in fundraising efforts for interstate trips. This experience deepened my understanding of the importance of community support in sports, which is why I was honored to join the South Australia Cue Sports Association. In this role, I’m helping fundraise to support juniors and their families, making participation more affordable.

Through these experiences, I have developed excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Volunteering in sporting clubs has allowed me to foster strong relationships within the community, promote inclusivity, and encourage active participation in sports.
